This is a nightmare! I contacted Ilok and after MANY email correspondence, all they continue to say is contact AVID. Right-click on the taskbar and select Task Manager. In this video, I will show you how to properly activate your software using the iLok License Manager. And to the best of my knowledge, I downloaded and executed all of these that available, but still the problem is there. One very nice guy on another forum tried helping me and gave me a link and said he thinks I need the C++ redistributables. (sorry, can you tell I'm frustrated?) I tried to delete ilok but continued getting error messages from ilok (even after I thought it was deleted) when I opened media composer. Here's some screen shots of what I see every time I try and install ilok. UGH! The Ilok locked up my media composer.

I'm frustrated!!! I own AVID MC and wanted to try AVID Pro Tools however, in order to try pro tools trial version, I had to download Ilok trial version first. DO NOT DOWNLOAD ILOK!!!! I want to spread the word about my experience.
